Uptown MOPS seeks to meet six specific needs of mothers. These needs are for identity, growth, relationship, help, perspective, and hope. The basic schedule of an Uptown MOPS meeting is arranged to integrate opportunities for relaxation, learning, meaningful discussion, and creative activities.
Uptown MOPS meets at FHPC every first and third Friday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
What does it cost? There is no cost to participate in this group. What about Childcare? The MOPS Kids program is for children from birth through elementary age. Each child will be placed in an age appropriate class where he or she will have playtime, complete a craft or activity, and enjoy a snack. How do I sign up? You can simply come join the group during regular meeting times or reach out to Cristen Anderson, at [email protected].
================== Uptown MOPS MOPS International is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to empowering and inspiring women as they seek to be the best mothers possible. Uptown MOPS is an extension of MOPS International whose purpose is to encourage, equip and develop every mother to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. At Uptown MOPS, we know that being a mother of a preschooler is a challenging time in your life. At a Uptown MOPS meeting, we will seek to refresh and encourage you while your children are lovingly cared for in our MOPS Kids program. We want this to be a special place for you to not only come and meet other women passing through this precious stage of life, but to hear effective ideas for raising healthy, happy children. Better moms make better children, which in turn, make a better world.
